3rd Grade Social Studies Textbook
Bring the museum to your classroom.
The Sweetwater County Museum Foundation produces a social studies textbook for 3rd grade students in our county.
The content is tailored to Sweetwater County history and was developed with educator input to align with Wyoming state standards.
Each student gets an activity workbook they get to take home with them at the end of the school year. We provide a teacher guidebook with presentation slides, lesson plans, and hands-on activities to do with your students.
As a fundraiser for the Sweetwater County Museum Foundation, we use the funds from the textbook sales to enrich our educational programs for K-12 students across our county and beyond.
Currently Sweetwater County School District #1, Sweetwater County School District #2, and Holy Spirit Catholic School are actively utilizing the textbook. If you are a different private or home school group and would like to bring the textbook into your school, please reach out!
