Welcome to the Sweetwater County Historical Museum

Explore the stories of Native Americans, explorers, fur trappers, overland travelers, railroad workers, coal miners, cowboys, sheepherders, homesteaders, business people, and trona, oil, and gas workers who shaped our region.
