Classroom Kits

Hands-on learning resources aligned with Wyoming state standards for classrooms across Sweetwater County.

To book a Classroom Kit for your students, please fill out the request form.

The Sweetwater County Historical Museum provides Classroom Kits as a free resource for teachers and students across the county. Each Kit is aligned with Wyoming state standards across social studies, science, reading, writing, and math. Kits include hands-on activities, artifacts, lesson plans, and background information for teachers. Teachers may check out the kit for one week at a time to allow as many schools to use it as possible. For teachers booking for your whole school, this time may be extended.

Most Kits are designed for elementary grade levels, but teachers may adapt activities for older students.
